Suppliers field lastpaiddate defined as datetime but used as date #334

Hi all:

Everywehere we treat suppliers.lastpaiddate as a date field (validations, calculations, showing in screen, but it is stored in DB as datetime.

For consistency: should we ALTER TABLE and modify the field to date instead of current datetime?
