  • Display information from existing saves
  • Allow to add or delete save files
  • Allow saves to be renamed
  • (Optionally) mimic the original interface, where saves are selected and then you click a save or load button

I feel like the last requirement is better not done, since it has nothing to do with the data. That kind of UX makes more sense for mobile imo.
I think from a web app perspective, it is not the best UX

I am going to extend this specific saves feature to include multiple saves (with pagination), since 10 saves may not be enough.

Great. I was thinking of having a "new save" button which would add a new entry, and conversely a way to delete saves.

I think it is fine to have limited number of saves. Even 50 would be fine, with 5 pages (something like 10 for each chapter)
Later, anyway, I plan to add the import/export option, so that would be a good backup option (so to speak)

Sure, this is fine by me also. The import/export is a more critical feature to me in any case.
