I have encountered the same issue. The activities are synced and show up in fitness trend, but not in Year Progressions.

ok, so I bet this mean the desktop app has the exact same issue that we have in the Extension then, reported here:
#1207

Check the "Type" of each of these new events, are the Types correct when you list them?

My fitness trend is working but my year progressions are totally broken and will not display. Resync'd data already and it took 2 days due to the number of activities and waiting 4-5 hours etc. Yuck! Chrome Mac.

Same here - Mac, Chrome. Activities sync and show in activities list and reflected in fitness. but just a straight line on progression.

@mattdesmond and @drewguy , you will both find that the reason the progressions aren't correct is because the Types are not being imported.
Check the "Type" of each of these new events, are the Types correct when you list them? (ie NOT on the "progressions" graph)

@mattdesmond your "fitness trend" will also make it obvious. The lines will be on the graph, but hover over them and you'll see all Types are null or blank.

I'm seeing the same issue. Type is indeed NULL for all my activities that happened somewhere after September 18th. Is there a way for us to fix these Type manually or is the Strava API using different types than before?

Can you confirm you use Desktop App? Can't reproduce on Desktop app on my side.

I reproduce on web extension and I provided an incoming fix for web-ext.

Can confirm on extension (Chrome, Mac) "type" is showing as blank for all types of activities. Last date with activity type is Sept. 28.

@ALL The 7.2.1 fix is now live. You may fully restart your browser to get the update
