Converted from SourceForge issue 3107321, submitted by SourceForge user indymaynard on 2010-11-11 15:07:11 UTC.

I'm certain that it's not a far stretch to extend functionality to connect to a MySQL/Postgres server that would update the local database as well, but I don't know enough python to figure out how to add this plugin. Or is there something you can do with the database chooser included in the code? I would like for my family to be able to have a central database for recipes so that my wife is not always punching the info in and then having to do an HTML export. If the family can add/edit recipes, it would increase the efficiency for at least our family.
