NVIDIA installers - what's the difference?

Hey,
Quick question about NVIDIA installers for Windows. They have different version numbers. What do they refer to? How would I choose which one is appropriate for my GPU?

Sorry it's indeed confusing. I removed duplicate files now. You can use version 12 if your drivers are updated. if it doesn't work try 11.

Thanks @thewh1teagle! What's the best way to confirm it's working as intended? Would increased GPU usage in the task manager during transcription indicate it's working?

I am using Linux and can run nvidia-smi (for those on Linux looking at this later). It seems you can run it on Windows too. I have tested the linked answer and it seems to work (although you may have to run as administrator as I was unable to see the resource usage). I did not go to Anaconda to run this, since I just ran it through the command prompt.

After building vibe, I tried running it and saw it only used 2mb of VRAM (using nvidia-smi). I thought I built with the correct options, but I found the .deb for the Nvidia version worked just fine and used 1,500-2,500mb of VRAM.

I tried looking in the Task Manager (Windows) for information regarding more exact VRAM usage, but I was unable to find anything besides a percentage. As long as you don't really do anything else (like open another program or perform another activity which could increase VRAM usage), I do not see why the Performance > Nvidia GPU tab would not suffice. In addition, an Nvidia app may provide this information, but I have not tried this. Hope this helps!

Thank you. Yes, I used GPU usage in the task manager to confirm it's working. It hit 50% usage during transcription.
