Feature Request: Attach disks to a running VM #1585

It would be great if it were possible to attach disks to an already running GCP instance for reference the AWS provider has this with aws_volume_attachment.

This is a nice feature to overcome a limitation in Terraform where it's not possible to pass a map of info to resources when they are being created.
