Before this change, we were getting an error message that looked as
follows:

Error checking for existence of existing Storage Table "valuesd604911c" (Account "storage72db33a8" / Resource Group "resourcegroup44d095f7"): tables.Client#Exists: Failure sending request: StatusCode=0 -- Original Error: Get https://resourcegroup44d095f7.table.core.windows.net/Tables('valuesd604911c'): dial tcp: lookup resourcegroup44d095f7.table.core.windows.net on 192.168.1.254:53: no such host

Notice the lookup URL - it's using the resource group not accountName

This has been released in version 1.34.0 of the provider. Please see the Terraform documentation on provider versioning or reach out if you need any assistance upgrading. As an example:

provider "azurerm" {
    version = "~> 1.34.0"
}
# ... other configuration ...
