It might be nice to allow the jobs coordinator to save the volunteer list to the DB. This would allow the DB to take responsibility for emailing out reminders, possibly allow people to sign up online (dunno that that'd have any uptake), and (if #4, electronic gate, happens) would allow automatically giving appropriate DB access to the person doing gate.
