Hello,

This seems a nice approach for wacom settings, as it follows the "official" design of the elements and settings options. Thanks for making it. I'm trying it right now on Manjaro XFCE, but firsti have to compile the python-pyqt4 from AUR, and for arch based distribution this is not quite efficient ...
Any plans to port it to PyQt5?
Cheers!

I'm glad you find it useful. I am hoping to do a python-pyqt5 port, but at least for the next couple months I am somewhat limited in my free time due to crunch at work. I believe Manjaro is also using python 3.5 as the base python release, correct? At least on CentOS python-pyqt5 is build on python3 so I'll likely get a CentOS 8 build up for testing the new build sometime in the new year.

Well, the python-pyqt4 failed to compile on my end, but i will try again on another install, so i can properly test it. Currently Manjaro and Arch are on python 3.8, and i hope by next year all the issues with it (few minor ones) will get sorted out.
Anyway, a DE independent UI for wacom/tablet settings will surly be welcomed. I'm surprised nobody joined forces with you in this regard.
Much obliged for your reply!

@bogdancovaciu there is a fork that ports it to pyqt5 by another dev. Seems to work on Manjaro i3wm :)

Thanks for your kind input. I was aware of the pyqt5 version since 5th of march 2020. Already mentioned in the forum. Cheers!

The URL does no longer resolve to anything useful :-/

Would you care to point to the port that you're referring to ?

His is on a branch other than master.

I've also forked it and made some changes to get it to work for me. You might want to review the commits I made:

Really sorry for the late reply here. Indeed the Manjaro forum that used to be there for the past 4 years needed to be archived and we started fresh. Still working to get things back and the useful information for our community members.
@olberger - as i see the proper link was provided to the old archived forum. Still not been able to provide a proper description how to on our new forum, but is something i have in my task list.
@ElementalWarrior - fantastic that you also fork it and got more features working. Once i get more time i will test it too.
Kind regards and thanks!
