Can you please go to the developer tools in home assistant and execute the following template

{{ labels() }}

{{ areas() }}

this will show you the exact names to use.

Many thanks for the great Adds on, super-excited about it, if it works ;-)

There are a couple of issues here

  • It seems HA does not allow uppercase labels. Created 'GoogleMatter' label originally but after following your template above it seems it was saved as googlematter
  • Even though I have updated the label everywhere and HA reports one device being found under that label i.e. googlematter, the bridge fails to list that single device. Please see attached

You might like to know restarting the AddOn and/or HA did not affect the result.

Same for me. I only have one include filter (label: matterhub) and it shows zero devices. I tagged 8 devices as "matterhub". Creating a pattern did work though.

{{ labels() }} returns
['hausbelegung', 'matterhub']

edit: It seems like you can only tag entities with labels and not whole devices. That works for me.

I have found out that if you rename your label from p.e. MatterHub to matterhub the change didn't make anything for the addon. I have deleted it, and make it new, that It work for me.

I had the same issue. Recently assigned labels to entities were not automatically discovered by the Matter Hub add-on. My label name is matter_exposed. I found out the following:

Once you assigned/removed a label to/from an entity, go to the Matter Hub and click on edit in the upper right corner:

Then scroll down and hit save.

This will update your published entities.
