Steps to reproduce

  • Implemented a helper, an input_boolean
  • this is shown in Home app
  • but the symbol is a socket, also you can only change "shown as" to light, socket or fan

Most matter controllers only have limited support for switches. E.g. Alexa shows them as remote and is only able to react to it, but not to control it.

OnOffPlugInUnit is the closest we have atm.
