Hello Team,

I would like to request support for the Polish language in The SEO Framework, particularly for synonym and inflection recognition in the Focus extension. Adding Polish support would be highly beneficial, given the increasing number of WordPress sites targeting Polish-speaking audiences. As the popularity of your plugin grows internationally, supporting additional languages like Polish could significantly enhance content optimization for multilingual sites.

Use Case:
For Polish-speaking users, the ability to analyze synonyms and word inflections would improve SEO efforts by allowing for more nuanced keyword strategies and helping pages rank better in search engines. This would align well with Google’s focus on natural language processing and assist content creators in producing high-quality, accessible content tailored to Polish users.

Potential Impact:
Enabling Polish language support for synonym and inflection analysis would expand the plugin’s user base and help Polish-speaking webmasters optimize content without relying on external tools or translating to English.

Thank you for considering this enhancement to make The SEO Framework even more versatile!

Hello!

TSF does support Polish, just not for dictionary lookups (because Google doesn't either).

To learn more, please see https://theseoframework.com/extensions/focus/#faq/which-languages-are-supported.

Particularly:

What if my site’s language doesn’t support synonym or inflection lookup?

That’s OK, neither does Google for your language then. We use the same dictionary API they use to process natural language. Therefore, using synonyms or inflections in an unsupported language won’t bring a benefit.

In this case, consider throwing an inflection into your content. Even though the parser won’t always recognize that inflection, it’ll increase the chances of your content being found on the search-engine-result-pages.
