black screen while using surge xt on linux mint

Bug Description:
As soon as i start playng notes via real or virtual MIDI the ap[ window becomes black and then even the screen too. The problem is solved after moving the mouse or showing the desktop, but after a very short time the issue reapears. I noticed that this bug is less frequent while using the real keyboard and once the bug was almost gone after rebooting the pc.

1. Open surge Xt
2. Connect or activate built in MIDI
3. Play any note
4. See error

Expected Behavior:
The app window becpmes completely black and than evene the whole screen

Hi!

The latest nightly (which will be 1.3 in about a week) brings a pretty big JUCE update with it; I wonder if that would address this problem.

I don't run Mint so I'm not quite sure how to reproduce this. Thanks for reporting it - will ask in our linux community on discord if there s any ideas.

Great I’ll close this as solved-in-1.3 then. Should turn nightly into a release next week too. Only one more tweak left with the code
