I started noticing periodic network latency spikes recently (even just to my router).
I had no latency spikes in recovery mode so I tested launching and quitting various apps on my machine to see what causes it.

I narrowed it down to Track-o-bot 0.9.0. Reverting to 0.8.6 builds solves the issue.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I guess it's a Qt problem (again)... sigh

I experienced this too. The issue occurs regardless of whether Hearthstone is open or not. It actually is pretty disruptive to playing Hearthstone, and other applications such as skype are rendered unusable. (My pings were sporadically 300 - 3000 ms with trackobot open, and consistently 1-3 ms with it closed.)

One thing to add is that this issue does not seem to occur when plugged in via ethernet cable, only on Wifi.
