What problem does your feature solve?

avoid nested dependencies against the overall go repo, allow Horizon Lite to determine what and where it has dependencies on external software/libs.

What would you like to see?

a new GH repo that starts as a copy of /exp/lighthorizon and any other packages from monorepo it uses or as references in go.mod for importation.

What alternatives are there?

continue to use the monorepo to carry lighthorizon application.
