I've edited the uidescription file for the AGain example to test the font baseline. For the test I used Noto Sans Display font (please install that font to repeat that test.)
Here is the .uidesc file (remove the .zip extension which I added so github allows me upload, file is not zipped!): again.uidesc.zip

This is how the UI looks on Mac:

It also exposes another bug as you can see on the grey bars in the background. I think this is because of the transparent color of the outlines rendered differently on Linux: #205

I'd recommend you do (automated) testing so that rendering of VST3-Plugins stays consistent over platforms. Ideally pixel perfect alignment. I think this is of upmost importance.
