Could not create the target notebook in Onenote! #65
Comments
Exactly the same problem and error here. Have tried (un/re)installing the desktop app a couple of times, but cannot get past this error. |
Also I got same error. |
Actually having said that ... even though the process looks like it failed, it does seem to have created the notes / books in OneNote. Open up OneNote, then go to File -> Open. From there I could see a bunch of notebook files, which look like they correspond to Evernote notes. I haven't gone through them all to check integrity, but it all looks pretty good to me. So maybe ignore the error and find out if it has, after all, moved the data. |
Sorry I spoke too soon. Only a portion of the notes have been imported, so back to square 2, if not square 1. It's possible the format or characteristics of a specific note are throwing the error, but without proper reporting, can't really troubleshoot. |
To follow up on the above issue. I have Version 2312 of OneNote (latest) and it's part of the Office 365 offering. I have downloaded the source code and do not have the "Microsoft OneNote 14.0 Type Library" installed, so the app is failing Microsofts preferred way of using a OneNote API seem to be https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/graph-explorer?request=me/onenote/notebooks&version=v1.0 now? |
Just a friendly bump. I also use the latest OneNote desktop version and is having the exactly same error. |
Well, when running, I get this error msg
Any help will be appreciate.
Thanks in advance
P.S. the code is the latest: 1.3.6
