Bug Report

Problem

When restoring a user account using a seed phrase, the name set during the restoration process is displayed temporarily. However, after a logout, the profile data (name and profile picture) are replaced with the data from the backup. This behavior is not user-friendly and creates confusion.

NOTE: This works for the first restore on the device. However, if the profile is deleted and then restored again, the photo from the backup is displayed immediately before logout.

Reproduction

  1. Restore a user account (with backup data) using a seed phrase.
  2. Set a name and password during the restore process.
  3. Observe the name displayed immediately after the restore.
  4. Try to change the profile photo
  5. Log out and observe the profile name and photo being replaced with backup data.

Expected behavior

The name and profile picture set during the restoration process should take priority and remain unchanged unless explicitly updated by the user.

Actual behavior

The name and profile picture are overridden by data from the backup after a logout.

but what if i have an ens name set on desktop? right now when importing from seedphrase it just asks to set a displayname again. so i actually like that it reverts to the backedup name so i can continue with the same ens name on mobile
