This has probably been mentioned before but I couldn't find any existing ideas about it....

When editing an entry with a really long content form, it can be a pain to scroll all the way to the top, click 'Save & Publish', then scroll all the way back down to the field you were editing again. I tend to save my content periodically , in case my PC crashes or whatever.

Would it be quite easy to make the sidebar sticky so that it follows me down the page to the field that I am editing? There might be some conflict with other UI features.

@stuartcusackie are you aware that 'cmd-s' also saves? And that there's an autosave option?

@edalzell I was not aware but I should have guessed! I will remember to use those for now.

Sticky sidebar could compliment those things but I'll leave it to the team to consider.
