👋 Introduction:

Welcome to the Business Development Working Group. Our collective goal is to grow the Stacks & Bitcoin L2 ecosystem in broad strokes, with an initial focus on key integrations and support for the Nakamoto and sBTC upgrades.

📜 Mission Statement:

Our mission is to deploy BTC capital from the L1 to the L2. In order to do that, we seek partnerships with both web2 and web3 ecosystems.

Areas that we work in include

• Stablecoins
• Bridges
• Oracles
• Brand partnerships (Ordinals, NFTs)
• Integrations & Infrastructure
• Custody, Exchanges, DEXs, & Liquidity providers

✅ Goals and Definition of Done:

Currently, our focus is narrow-scoped for essential partnerships for the upcoming Nakamoto Release and sBTC launch. Other things may be added or removed accordingly with the GTM plans for sBTC & Nakamoto.

Measurables we aim to achieve

• 3+ new Custodians for Stacking, Signing, and sBTC
• 2 Centralized Exchange venues for sBTC
• 10+ decentralized Signers for sBTC
• 1 crosschain bridge
• 1 top-tier stablecoin partner
• 1 top-tier Oracle for price feeds

Definition of Done - partnership is secured, the integration/implementation is complete, and it’s live.

Our contributions are mighty. It’s up to us to find the best partners who’ll unlock BTC capital. We’re moving from a rock to a productive asset.

Creating a two-way peg for Bitcoin onto the stacks blockchain is a huge undertaking, and can't be done without collaboration from across the folks. By pooling our diverse expertise with partnerships, we hope to make meaningful strides on connecting broader web3 to sBTC.
