ActiveMQ 6.0.1 has been released and includes Jakarta support on the broker-side.

Given that we're at the RC phase we've decided to wait until Spring Boot 3.3 to do the upgrade.

We have upgraded to 6.1.0 in #40014. We can use this issue to track reinstating auto-configuration for an embedded broker. We don't have any immediate plans for that work. As it stands, it's unlikely that it'll make it into 3.3, unfortunately. If someone has the time to contribute something, we can try to find the time to review and merge it.
