Reinstate support for auto-configuring an embedded ActiveMQ broker #38404
Comments
Given that we're at the RC phase we've decided to wait until Spring Boot 3.3 to do the upgrade. |
Revised to ActiveMQ v6.0.1 |
Is this dependency upgrade still planned for 3.3.0? |
Revising to ActiveMQ v6.1.0 |
We have upgraded to 6.1.0 in #40014. We can use this issue to track reinstating auto-configuration for an embedded broker. We don't have any immediate plans for that work. As it stands, it's unlikely that it'll make it into 3.3, unfortunately. If someone has the time to contribute something, we can try to find the time to review and merge it. |
@wilkinsona thanks for the update. I’ll work to get a PR up this week for the broker-side work. Working to reinstate from this commit: 6349250 |
@snicoll thanks for picking it up! I lost my in-progress work in a git repo shuffle. |
ActiveMQ 6.0.1 has been released and includes Jakarta support on the broker-side.
