Create an Uptime monitor to check the status of your website, web app or API. |

Click Uptime in the bottom left corner of the sidebar in your Spike.sh account.
Click the "New uptime" button.
Add details for your uptime monitor like name, the full URL including http:// or https://
Select a service from the 'Add to service' dropdown and click 'Next' button.
Select an escalation policy to specify who gets alerted when the website is down. For example, we selected a policy where a team member is alerted via phone call.
You will now see your newly creating Uptime monitor.
