Multiple backup configurations

Hi,
I know that this has been asked years ago and the answer was "not yet" and "maybe in the future, we'd like to keep the package clean though" -- but maybe it's been incorporated since or there are solutions this that I cant think of ...

Basically I'd like to be able to configure multiple types of backups for different purposes but i'm not entirely sure how to go about it. I want to have one daily backup that backs up the entirety of the project with database etc and store on the local server (this is what I have set up now, this works fine). In addition to this however I would also like to create another backup (daily) that is a "minimised" backup, that only contains the database and two folders out of the entire project and sends it somewhere via email (or google drive, etc) - this one I want to be deleted as soon as it leaves the server.

I'm not too sure how to go about this, I suppose the easiest and cleanest way would be to have two configurations but it doesnt look like that is natively supported. I've considered having two configurations set up and them being "swapped out" programatically but this is pretty dodgy and I'm unsure if there are any hidden caveats. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks
