I am sorry to ask but I am not able to find the documentation in SourceGraph can anyone point me to the right URL?

You can find docs at http://godoc.org/github.com/sourcegraph/go-vcs/vcs or by browsing to individual functions in https://sourcegraph.com/github.com/sourcegraph/go-vcs (within the files). We used to show documentation in the godoc format on Sourcegraph but currently don't. I'll update the URL in the readme when we have something better.

Happy to answer any other questions you have. We use go-vcs heavily inside Sourcegraph.
