The dpsimpy-packages published on PyPi are built only in the release-configuration. This means, that all log output of level debug or lower will not be compiled into these builds. Therefore, setting any logger to debug-level on a dpsimpy-build downloaded from PyPi will not produce the desired output, but instead output a warning for every such logger (as introduced in #236 ). This is the intended behavior and not a bug, however, it might still be nice to have a way for PyPi-users to generate debug log output.
