History longer than 99?

Is there a possibility of adding (or hacking) the settings to keep more than 99 history items? I have a bad habit of using clipboard history as my "text backup repository". Would appreciate a bigger bin

After months of being distracted by other things, I'm picking up some tickets -- I'll take a look and see how hard this would be in terms of the UX.

Oh wow I was just going to feature request this!!!
I run with 99, yes it's a long scroll, but I rarely go beyond the top 10 or so. When I want to go back a few days, it would be good to go back 300 or so!!!!
In terms of UI, 99 is already insane, you just use the scroll wheel to scroll down, I don't think 999 would make it too much worse!
