pip installing this package fails when using python3.12:

$ python3.12 -m pip install singularity-compose
Defaulting to user installation because normal site-packages is not writeable

When using 3.8, the install succeeds:

If you could either update your python packaging to be compliant with python3.12 or explicitly mention which versions are supported, it would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Could you please test build and install of a wheel directly? I can release that alongside if needed. Otherwise, please make a specific suggestion for what you'd like changed. Thanks!
