Hi everyone! I'm Josh and I'm here on behalf of my workplace, Mark43. Mark43's CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) is the software used every day by 911 dispatchers (call takers) and first responders to respond to events in their community. This is mission critical software and its users are making life saving decisions on a daily basis. It's our goal to give dispatchers and first responders the best possible software for navigating the issues they face. This software is built in electron, and we are eagerly looking for people with expertise/experience in electron to help round out the teams that work on this product. These are ONSITE, FULL TIME positions available in NYC and Toronto. Here is a link to a job posting: https://grnh.se/d389e2d01. This position does not explicitly list electron expertise, but we are certainly hiring for that skillset. Please apply if you're interested in building with us! If you have any more questions about the opportunity, the best place to find me is probably slack.torontojs.com (my name is Josh Acheson) or reach me at josh at mark43 dot com. |

Hi my name's Vinay! I'm a co-founder and the head of engineering at @loomhq (https://www.loom.com). Loom allows you to create quick video messages for the workplace by allowing someone to record their screen, front-facing camera, and narrate a video all at once. We have > 1.5m users all around the world and our metrics are rapidly growing. Our main creation tool is a desktop app with an Electron UI and native recording layers for Windows and Mac. We're looking for a senior desktop recorder engineer to join our team and own and improve on these layers. There's a lot of really exciting stuff going on over here, but what better way to showcase it than with a Loom? :-) Job req: https://jobs.lever.co/useloom/6fb4c137-3be5-484e-918b-6be733e9b83c |
