Deprecation Notice for SignalFx Istio Mixer Adapter

  • Istio deprecated the use of Mixer Adapters in the Istio 1.5 release.
  • Support for Mixer Adapters ended with the Istio 1.7 release.
  • Support for the Istio 1.7 release ended Feb 25, 2021.
  • As a result, the SignalFx Istio Mixer Adapter is deprecated.
  • Going forward, the Istio Observability documentation can be used to collect data from Splunk Observability Cloud.
