Surprised no one has brought up the worst HETUW carry over bug,

Not talking about before you are 1 and can't escape your mom.

When you're under 5 and anyone picks you up there is a 1 in 5 chance you can't escape.... This bug needs to be fixed....

Thanks for making an issue, it's definitely an important one. If you have any guesses / future observations on what seems to trigger it, let me know.

(the following is mostly for my own notes)

I was digging into this during the last noob wave (with its associated spike in noob griefers trying out bb napping), and what's odd is that it's not a WASD thing like I expected. I have a video (too large for GitHub, grr) of being kidnapped and not being able to escape with mouse. In it, I do switch to vanilla and can get out, but it's still not clear to me whether the issue would have resolved with a reconnect from YumLife instead.

The reason this matters is that the mouse handling wasn't modified extensively by hetuw, so it's possible that this is a server bug. I think I wasted too much time on that theory before, though. I really just need to find a way to consistently repro the issue with an alt so I can get a better idea of the client's logic when this happens.

In jasonrohrer/OneLifeData7#1207, Tarr states that this has existed for "pretty much forever," presumably referring to vanilla, and I believe Forman is a vanilla user.

Still going to keep this open, since it's not likely anybody else is going to fix this. :) Hopefully not a server bug.
