Download attribute for asset types

When configuring a Link field, you can select the box that 'allows links to open in another window'. That enables a checkbox when editing content to select that option for a given link, which then adds the target=_blank to the link attributes.

I want to propose something similar for allowing assets links to be downloadable - a checkbox under the assets tab when you are setting up the field which shows a checkbox when editing content and 'asset' is selected, and has the effect of adding the download attribute to the link attributes.
