Describe what you noticed and did

When opening locally saved HTML file in Sandboxed Brave browser, screen stays blank, hitting refresh does not help.
Only way to display that window is to close browser and re-open it. Once browser re-opens, windows shows up correctly (my browser is set to start where you left off).
In my HTML file, I have some instructions and URL links, when I right click, open in new tab, I also get white screen and only way to view is to restart browser.
Local HTML file is not Sanboxed, I used this file before with Sanboxed Firefox without any issues.

How often did you encounter it so far?

every time

Is it a regression or not?

EDIT:

On Windows 10 22H2 with administrator account:

  1. I set the Brave browser as the default.

  2. With the HTML file saved on my desktop and:

    • Dragged it onto the open Brave browser in the sandbox, and it opened without any issues.
    • After setting ForceProcess=brave.exe, I opened the HTML file from the desktop, and it opened without any issues.
    • I opened the HTML file from the Sandboxie Run menu, and it opened without any issues.
    • I double-clicked the file through Windows Explorer in the sandbox, and it opened without any issues.
    • I used 'Open with' through Windows Explorer in the sandbox, and it opened without any issues.

Three observations.

  1. In Windows 10 Pro (for security reasons) I use A local account (Standard user), Not Admin.
  2. I open file inside sandboxed Brave by hitting "Ctrl-O"
  3. HTML file is stored on network drive which is mapped as local drive Z:

This issue only happens on initial opening inside Empty box. After Brave restart, any subsequent openings have no issues.
I only see this in Brave, same operation in Firefox has no issues.

For further clarification, I don't have anything installed inside sandboxie. I only use Sandboxie to isolate browsers instances from each other (Banking, Business, Social, etc..etc..). I open browser sandboxed by Right clicking on browser icon on desktop -> Run Sandboxed -> Choose Sandbox to run in.
