This repo contains the data files and TopoJSON files used in my medium blog - Custom Map Layer in Looker

Indian Demographic Data

TopoJSON files

  1. Data Meets has community-created maps of India. It hosts maps of Indian state boundaries, district boundaries, assembly & parliamentary constituencies, municipalities, and village boundaries.
  2. This GitHub link has a state-level administrative map of India
  3. This Git Repo has the Indian States, Districts, and Taluk-wise GeoJSON files.
  4. This Kaggle Dataset - Indian States Map and Location Coordinates has a detailed geoJSON file. However, it is bigger** in size.
  5. This GitHub Repo has TopoJSON for major Indian cities.
