What happened:

When Portmaster installed and rebooting it shows in the left panel "Device is offline" and 'yellow light' on Windows 10 Pro notebook, which connects to public wifi with a "secure" in its SSID. When shutting down Portmaster internet works on that device, but then there is no Portmaster in between.
When changing to public and "open" wifi, Portmaster works as expected and shows 'green light'.

What did you expect to happen?:
That Portmaster recognises 'secure' wifi connection and uses this connection as if it would be a open wifi without 'secure' feature.

How did you reproduce it?:

Automatic connection to public secure wifi with autostarting Portmaster when booting.

I guess you know about these issues as I have read about it in the docs, but i did not find a solution and I wonder if it would be possible to configure Portmaster that it works with "secure" wifi as well.

Is there a setting to change in Portmaster to make both Wifis work or which additional information would you need from that 'secure' network to not show 'Device is offline' anymore?

Hey @mpek, thanks for reporting this.

It seems that the public WiFi has some kind of filter installed in the network that interferes with Portmaster's online detection.

Can you confirm that Portmaster works fine when you are on other secure (possibly private) WiFi networks?

Thanks for your quick reply. Cannot confirm anytime soon. No other secure (private) WiFi networks available for me atm. Anything else that could help with this network?
