What would you like to add or change?:
Can we please create a package for raspberry pi's running Raspbian?

Why do you and others need this?:
A lot of privacy enthusiasts already run ad-blockers/private DNS on Raspbian. Safing will be a great addition to the ecosystem. Having this packaged will allow for greater adoption among pi-users.

Hey @middieNomad, thanks for the suggestion!

Creating a package for arm itself is a quick thing. What is blocking this, is that we first need to compile and test all components for arm. This is on our roadmap, but I don't know yet when we'll get to it!

I would ask others who would like to run the Portmaster on arm to comment here, so we can better estimate the demand.

Internal note: tracked by CC#1958

We already have everything compiled for arm64 for linux.
Using the manual install would already work.
I'll check what it would need for an arm installer.

Hey there, wanna use this on my ARM64 Ubuntu Server. I tried the manual installer instructions from the website but they don't seem to work. Got a quick command list I can run down to install Portmaster on it?

I'd love to run this on PostmarketOS on ARM64. So a .apk for Alpine would be good.

Phones are another thing altogether, because the UI won't work there.

For general Linux ARM desktops, our script installer should work with arm until we get the packaging done:
