Add remote control capabilities (video start, queue)

It is for example possible to start Youtube videos via remote control apps from the smartphone (e.g. with Yatse) or laptop PC (e.g. with the browser extension Cast-Kodi). In case of Yatse, you just click the share button within the Youtube smartphone app and select "Play on Media Center". It then automatically starts the selected video on Kodi. It would be nice to have this kind of feature as well, when you use the TVthek smartphone app and want to view the selected video within Kodi. I think the feature is not yet implemented on the Kodi side. Would it be possible?
