Let's pick the top priorities for new feature work on async/await this year.

Use this issue for submitting ideas that have their own tracking issues/RFCs. (If one doesn't exist, create one!)

However, I'd like to avoid using this issue for discussion of individual items. Let's use the Zulip topic for that instead:

I'd like us to consider #23: AsyncRead, AsyncWrite traits

I'd like us to consider #11: thread::block_on. And see #12 Stream, and #14 yield_safe through to stabilization.

edit: also if @betamos has the bandwidth, I'd love to see his original proposal in #19 converted into an RFC.
