fn main() {
    let foo: u8 = 0;
    match foo {
        0 => {}
        1 => {}

The compiler gives an error :

Looks like this is rust-lang/rfcs#1550 written out instead of as a range pattern?

Thanks for raising this issue! This is indeed a missing feature which has been discussed before in #12483 and #30578. Since it requires a new feature in the language, it's best to engage with the processes for improving Rust directly if you want to push this towards a solution. See https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md for more information, and the existing rfc issue that @scottmcm linked to.

I'll close this issue like its duplicates.
