Have a few points about cross:

  • New release: The last release of cross was in November 2017 which means users have to depend on latest master branch (which may break on certain architectures) for newer features.

  • Qemu failures: Currently build is failing on a few architectures because of QEMU and we haven't found a way to solve the issue and it is blocking other unrelated PRs (we could disable the architectures but that shouldn't be the first option we take)
