Here are a few possible template level changes that we could make to the project dashboard page to make it 💯

  • Make dashboard version listing the same as the project version page version listing, we don't have a good reason to make this different. The dashboard page should only show the active versions of course.
  • Remove "Default Version" and "latest Version" sidebar items from the front dashboard page
  • The front dashboard page version listing should note the default branch
  • Branch privacy should be also calculated and displayed, like the version listing page
  • The version listing on the front dashboard page shouldn't list "wipe". In fact, I don't think the project version page should either. This should be moved to behind a version detail page, like all of the other patterns we use around many to many elements currently.

I have more thoughts on how to improve the listing page, but this will come with some slightly better stylesheets as well.

Maybe this readthedocs/readthedocs.org#3445 is what you mean?

Hey @agjohnson @RichardLitt! Something like this is expected? I tried doing the first four on the list. I did not understand the last one. I would really like to work on it though.

tests-demo _ read the docs

This is my first contribution to the project. I would really like to work on my mistakes and improve.
Thank you for your time. :)

Is this still relevant? I guess we can address all this with the site redesign.

This is still valid bot.

It seems this can wait for some more time.

This one looks a bit stale. If there is any other work here, it should happen in some new issues.
