Also, based on helping students with the labs over Zoom this quarter, I found that it is very useful to have the display of “line numbers” turned on in the Eclipse editor. That makes it much easier to refer to a specific line of code when talking with a student. When I installed VirtualBox, the Eclipse line numbers were off by default.
Turn on the editor line number in Eclipse preferences:
Window-->Preferences—>General—>Editors—>Text Editors—> show line numbers
Would it be possible to have that turned on by default in your VirtualBox distribution?
