Generate release notes

There are plenty of standalone packages (and GitHub Actions) that use scm data to achieve this.
After some window shopping, here are some contenders:

• github-release-notes (gren)
  • Possibly the best of the bunch.
  • Relatively newer than some but more actively developed.
• github-changelog-generator
  • Seems popular but lacks close integration with GitHub releases; unlikely given Close interaction with "GitHub Releases" github-changelog-generator/github-changelog-generator#56 is 5 years old!
  • The only one of these that I've tried so far. It 'just works'.
• Release Drafter
• Github Actions Releaser
  • based on gren (above)
  • example
• conventional-changelog
  • set of tools for all things changeloggy
  • kinda hard to navigate the sub-projects and what they do and if/how they interact with GitHub Releases
  • did expose me to the Conventional Commits specification which seems interesting (for generating changelog and automating version increments)

Preferably something that conforms with the 'spec' of keepachangelog.com.
