The current method to hide the Support App (sudo chflags hidden "/Applications/Support.app) works well for hiding it in the Applications folder, but this does not remove the App from LaunchPad.
Based on my research the easiest way to implement this would be to remove the Support App from the Applications folder.
Might be a good idea to explore installing the App in a /Library/Application Support/Support App directory, similar to swiftDialog (/Library/Application Support/Dialog/Dialog.app)

If not possible or difficult to implement, would it be easier to configure the Support App to open up the app from the system tray when clicked on LaunchPad/Applications Folder?
That way users at least get a visual indicator of what it does.
