I got an error on my latest site using WordPress 5.2.1 and ACF Pro 5.8.0 regarding something like force_array (I don't have the error code on hand right now but can look it up if it is important).

My suggestion is to use the plugin at https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-select-for-advanced-custom-fields/ instead because it works just fine.

Hey, yeah, sorry I no longer maintain this, so that other plugin you recommended sounds good to me.
