It would be wonderful if it is possible to drag and drop the layer number shown on the left side of the keymap to change the layer order.

The ability to switch around layers would slash a lot of time spent rearranging things! I'm not entirly sold on dragging as the mechanism, might be activated by accident. Another option would be to activate a "swap mode", like FR #800, that then allows dragging.
