Great app,

Just wondering how to make it run in the background without terminal opening?

When I close terminal, the program stops.

I tried to have ChatGPT make the executable files and what not, but that didn't help.

Any suggestions? 🙏🏾

hey!
what you are searching for is to run the program as a service
i'm collecting instructions on this page https://github.com/rejetto/hfs/wiki/Service-installation
but sadly it doesn't include macos. Ironically, i work on macos, but never tried, as i run my hfs on a Windows machine.
in the near future i will dedicate some more time on this,
but in the meantime you can google it https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+run+a+program+as+a+service+on+macos
as soon as i have some time, i will study this and integrate instructions for macos

i made some experiment, that worked for me, and tried to write some instructions, but i guess it's not for everyone, yet
