For the Toucan TCO2 bridge, we currently are planning to have the credit class be only for NCT eligible TCO2 tokens.
Long term, it would be better to have this credit class hold all TCO2 assets, which includes some assets that are not eligible for the TCO2 basket. The determining factor in whether a given TCO2 credit is eligible for NCT is which methodology the credit used.
There are 2 possible ways I can imagine us tackling this:
Bring methodologies on-chain, and update all TCO2 assets to have on-chain representations of the methodologies associated with each project2.
Enable "off-chain data inclusion" as part of the basket criteria. In this case, a basket criteria could be a specific wildcard of an RDF triple (e.g. ******'s methodology is "METHOD-123"), and upon putting a credit in the basket the user would provide a merkple proof of that triple's inclusion of the project's metadata IRI
