I'm currently experimenting with https://github.com/omissis/go-jsonschema. It works quite well for generating the values.schema.json file.

We'd need to write our own values.yaml renderer and find a good way to preserve the comments as well.

For generating the values.yaml file, we'll probably have to use raw YAML nodes https://pkg.go.dev/gopkg.in/yaml.v3#Node so we can include comments.
