As per title - when using snap version, create new assembly command crashes FreeCAD.

When trying the same in appimage - no problem...?
I know it is an old one (I seldom use appimage nowadays)
If needed I will download latest appimage to test.

For now I am using old appimage to add new assembly and going back to snap to continue work... 👎

Don't know if it is related? but...
same time with the same symptoms (i.e. doesn't work in the latest snap version but OK in old appimage):

My animation macro that has always worked OK (and still works fine in old appimage Link branch) is also crashing latests/edge snap version 👎

I will wait to see if your fix, fixes it as well - if not I will reopen?
