This issue is covered by our test suite. In other words, if you can run the test suite without any errors, then your installation is not affected.

This test DOES work correctly on ALL PHP versions tested via Travis (and everything I've tested locally on Ubuntu Linux).

This test does NOT work on PHP 5.5.30 on Mac, but DOES work with PHP 7.? on Mac.

As such, I'm not sure there's much to be done here. Also, PHP 5.5 is no longer officially supported by Zend, so you're recommended to upgrade anyway.

As such, I'm closing this for now and we can reconsider this if it affects other (supported) versions 👍
